TERMS OF SALE:

  • If you submit an order through SolarCompliantLabels.com, you are accepting the terms and conditions of the SolarCompliantLabels.com website, a product of Precision Engraving and Signs, and the conditions of sale.
  • Items returned as defective will be refunded after inspection when the item is received.
  • Custom items will not be refunded unless the product was defective, damaged, or an error was made that is different from the document that is approved by the purchaser.
  • No exchanges or returns will be accepted beyond 30 days after the original purchase date.
  • Products are proudly made and shipped from CA, USA.

Please Note:

  • We collect sales tax for the State of California.
  • Shipping charges are incurred and added to your order unless you order over $200. If you order exceeds $200 and you use the free shipping, the order will be shipped USPS Priority Mail and includes tracking and insurance.

Thank you for visiting SolarCompliantLabels.com, a product of Precision Engraving and Signs.  By visiting, using, and ordering off our site, you are accepting the terms and conditions of SolarCompliantLabels.com.  SolarCompliantLabels.com reserves the right to make changes to this website and to these policies and terms and conditions at any time and without notification to our customers.

ORDERS & FULFILLMENT:
We process orders as they are received in the order that they were received.  Normal processing time is usually within 2 business days.  For items that we stock on the shelf, we try to send them out the same day or the following day after the item(s) is/are ordered.  Custom items may take longer because of the approval process.  After approved, custom items are usually shipped within 2 business days.  The transit time for shipping depends on the service picked and the level of that service that is chosen.  Processing, approval, and shipping times do not include weekends or holidays.

If you have items that are needed faster than what is stated above, please contact sales directly by calling or emailing us through our contact page here. We can arrange to have expedited order processing, manufacturing, and shipping.  Extra charges may be involved for expedited processes.

SolarCompliantLabels.com retains the right to refuse producing labels, signs, or plaques which have objectionable content.  If a custom sign is ordered with content that is found objectionable by SolarCompliantLabels.com, we will contact the customer to agree on changes to the product, or we will refund the purchase price and notify the customer of the cancelled order.

SHIPMENT:
SolarCompliantLabels.com uses USPS for its primary shipping services.  The shipping service selected will determine the transit time for the shipment.  Delays in shipment due to inclement weather, geography, address input errors, mechanical issues, carrier issues, or other items outside of our control are not the responsibility of SolarComplianLabels.com.  Shipping charges are incurred and added to your order unless your order is in excess of $200.  Over $200 in purchases and your items ship free with insurance.

DAMAGED or LOST SHIPMENTS:
All orders that are shipped with the USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Products are insured and shipped F.O.B. Signal Hill, California.  If your items are lost or damaged, please contact USPS to resolve the claim.  Please call or email to get replacement products expedited.

IF your items shipped are designated USPS First-Class, the shipment is not insured.  If your product is damaged or lost in shipping it is not the responsibility of SolarCompliantLabels.com.  If you wish to have insurance, please use USPS Priority Mail Shipping.  If a product is lost or damaged, please contact us to get replacement products expedited.

CANCELLATIONS or ORDER CHANGES:
A full refund is issued for any order cancellation that has not shipped.  If you need to cancel an order with us, please contact us through email or by phone as quickly as possible to avoid the items being shipped.  Our orders are usually shipped within 3 business days.  Custom items may only be cancelled if they have not started the manufacturing process for the custom item.  If the manufacturing process has started, the item will not be cancelled and will be shipped.  A cancellation email sent by SolarCompliantLabels.com is the only official cancellation document.  If you do not have this document, the item is not cancelled.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS:
SolarCompliantLabels.com has secure credit card payments made through Stripe or PayPal.  We currently accept all major forms of credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover.  There is no service charge for paying by a credit card.  Online payments are made through the website and other payment options are available by calling customer service at 562-388-5379 or through our contact page here.

SALES TAX:
We collect sales tax for sales in the state of California.

TAX EXEMPT STATUS:
If you are tax-exempt in the state of California, you may contact us and we will arrange to set up your account for tax exempt sales.  Please allow at least 48 hours to process your documents and remove the sales tax from your orders.  You may also call us at 562-388-5379.

RETURN POLICY:
If Solar Compliant Signs stocks the label, sign, or plaque, it may be returned for a full refund if the product was shipped within the last 30 days.  After 30 days, items are no longer eligible for return.  You will be charged a 10% restocking fee and be responsible for shipping the return items.  If you got a bulk discount on your original order and the return lowers the original order to a lesser discount, you will be charged at the higher per unit price on the original order.

If for any reason a label, sign, or plaque is defective or damaged upon arrival, it may be returned with prior authorization.  Please contact us to authorize the return.  Upon receiving the return, we will inspect the product and send out a replacement or refund the product if it is deemed defective.  If the product is damaged due to shipping or handling after it has left our facility, please contact the carrier to make a claim.

WARRANTY:
SolarCompliantLabels.com warranties all our products to be free from defects in workmanship and/or materials at the time of shipment.  Our liability shall be limited to a refund or replacement of the defective product if it is determined that the product was defective at the time of shipment.  Damage caused by installation, accidents, mistakes on copy that is approved, is the responsibility of the buyer.  SolarCompliantLabels.com is not responsible for any misuse of the product or if the buyer cannot use the product.  IF it is a stocked item, it may be returned within 30 days of the original shipment of the item.  If it is a custom item, it may not be returned unless it was determined that the product was defective.  This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty that is expressed or implied.

All shipping costs related to retuning an item to SolarCompliantLabels.com for inspection for inspection or return will be prepaid by the buyer.  Defective products will be replaced, repaired, or refunded, after SolarCompliantLabels.com receives and inspects the item(s) and the items are deemed defective.  If the item is deemed defective, shipping costs will be reimbursed.  non-defective items shipped back to SolarCompliantLabels.com will be at the cost of the buyer.  Any and all expenses, labor charges, losses in revenue, originating form a failure due to a defective item will be borne by the buyer.

The label, sign, or plaque content that is required is determined by the intended use and the regulations for that application.  Please research the codes that are applicable to the labels, signs, or plaques.  The buyer is responsible for determining the label, sign, or plaque necessary for an application and the appropriate content of that label, sign, or plaque.  SolarCompliantLabels.com makes no warranty or representation or suitability of a label, sign, or plaque for any specific location.

CUSTOM ITEMS:
The purchaser determines what information is needed for their signs, plaques, or labels.  The custom artwork that is sent to SolarCompliantLabels.com will be the artwork that is printed.  SolarCompliantLabels.com will not proof or correct artwork that is sent in.  The custom art that is sent to SolarCompliantLabels.com is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

SolarCompliantLabels.com can design, layout, and setup your custom sign.  There will be an additional artwork charge for the layout time and the setup time for the custom signs.  A proof will be sent to the purchaser.  Once approval has been received, the art will be printed exactly as what was approved on the proof.
